The registration was a good time to make contact with other parents. So what have people been doing over this winter? A good number of boys and girls are playing indoor soccer in Saco and Hampton on the weekend. Some of the U14 girls have had an opportunity to sub in the Noble High School Seacoast soccer team. Many of the U9/U10 girls played basketball together. The U14 girls are playing in the upcoming Pinetree League session. Perhaps at the next registration we can find out what the rest of you are doing.

2/24/2013: U14 Indoor Soccer. Congratulations to Coach Adam Podolec and his U14 Ladies indoor team. The ladies placed second in this weekend's Nike indoor cup tournament at Seacoast United. The ladies had to play all elite teams from NH and MA. They ended up in second place but only missing first place by one goal. The players are: Meredith Podolec, Kerri Fleming, Kendra Silvers, Summer Smith, Sammy Couture, Brenna Fry, Morgan Griffin,Tyler Tarr and Hailey Tarr. Congratulations ladies.

2/23/2013: Why would you want your child to be in the Noble Travel Soccer Program? To begin with we have licensed coaches who must take classes with Soccer Maine (United Soccer Federation of Maine). Coaches go thru an extensive Training program that teaches teaching skills, but also how to build a player's confidence and skills. Another important reason boys and girls learn how to work within a team. Teamwork is important for a player 's growth in the years to come. Noble Travel Soccer is a stepping-stone for play in school sports.
Did you, as a parent ever want to get involved with what is going on? You may say, "I don't know anything about soccer." The answer is this: A lot of the behind the scenes requires no knowledge of the sport. The club needs help in many ways; such as finding a sponsor, set up nets or maybe you have a skill that will make us a better club.
